Visual Narrative Project- Kolesa (5th) Molly Lofthouse
This piece was on a big cat and a human with the quote "You won't change the world by saving an animal, but you will change the animal's world." I added some jungle plants to help bring the piece together.
The principles of design that I used were balance, proportion, and harmony. The reason I chose these were the idea that they all should be one size and and to make sure they go together in one composition. I think I was very successful witch achieving these principles.
The meaning behind this piece was to show that people should care for the animals instead of hurting them. I am a very strong believer in stopping animal cruelty. I believe that animals have a greater purpose than being
tested on.
Even though I am not finished with this piece, I am very very happy with how it is coming out. I love the idea of having a pop of color in the composition. I love the shading in the big cat and also the hand. I can't wait to see how it turns out once I have finished them piece.
