Typography Project Per.5 Molly Lofthouse

The meaning of this quote was to show that no matter where you may be, you can always think of something all the time. I chose this quote because it means a lot to me. I grew up on Winnie the Pooh and I always loved the quotes and lessons you learned. I love this quote in particular because I always think of my family and my boyfriend all the time.
I chose to add the tree, the blue door, wind, and the honey pot to show little features that make it known that it's Winnie the Pooh. I thought by adding these it would make the composition more cartoonish than realistic. I also chose red to represent Winnie the Pooh

The principle of designs shown in this project are emphasis and contrast. I use emphasis in the colors and making it pop out in the composition. I used contrast in making sure the composition is balanced with the colors. I made sure to balance the colors and to make sure you eyes go in one direction.
My growths were that I have expanded my mediums of watercolor and after this project I definitely want to create more projects with watercolor. I find it very satisfying when I am able to get a lot of saturation and pigment in the paint and also being able to get small details. My weakness would be that I wasn't as detailed as I am when I use acrylic. I find that it was hard to get details in this and I also had trouble painting inside the letters, but overall I think I did a really good job on this piece and I am very happy with it.
